The STORY
The Meetings Network was founded in 2004 by Wendy Hand. Our mission is to provide premium site selection services and contract negotiation at no cost to our clients.
We function as a small operation so we can maintain direct contact with our clients and continue to offer our services for free. That being said, we maintain a wide network of industry contacts so we can serve as your inside connection to hotel properties all over the United States. Wendy Hand has spent her career in the hotel industry, working in various roles within California and national organizations as well as global organizations. She has extensive connections amongst hotel chains and Convention and Visitors Bureaus.

Many of our clients have been working with Wendy Hand for over 20 years. We prioritize fruitful relationships with our clients so we can continue to meet their needs for years to come. Our approach to lasting client connections applies to new as well as existing clients.

Wendy has negotiated more than 1000 contracts during her time with The Meetings Network. She understands the needs of her clients and will pursue their best interests relentlessly while working on a hotel contract. About Wendy
Wendy has more than 39 years experience in the hotel industry, including ten years as a Global Account Director with Starwood Hotels. She forges strong industry relationships and has built an excellent reputation in the community.
In her downtime, Wendy enjoys an active life in Northern California. She is often spending time with her husband, her children and grandchildren, family, friends and two labrador retrievers.
